Cooking it up in the Ottawa blogosphere

My Google Reader is filled with local blogs offering up recipes.  In a quest to cover as many Ottawa area blogging chefs as possible, here is a sample of some recipes that are kicking about in the ether.

Zahlicious offers up a dish called Light at Five, i.e.  Fiorentini with Guanciale, Tomato and Spicy Pickled Peppers.  Wine out loud shares some thoughts on the cheese platter, while the blog Thrive explains how to make carrot ginger food processor soup.

The lemon kitchen suggests that you try the Green Goodness, a drink with pineapple, banana, kale, coconut milk, water and some ice.  Mon Food Blog has a recipe for Farinata, Losing It In Ottawa describes how to make protein pancakes, and Ottawa Valley Moms give tips on how to cook gluten-free pancakes.  If you like Thai food, La Cuisine d'Hélène has a recipe for shrimp Thai curry, while Eaten Up offers her advice on how to prepare Thai lentil soup.

Valerie Ward talks to Chef Judi Varga-Toth from Credible Edibles, an eco-catering company and cooking school in Hintonburg, as well as providing a recipe for Brussels sprouts with dried cranberries in a walnut caramel sauce.  Finally, culinaryinclined reveals how to cook braised pig cheeks with celery root puree, while The Gouda Life has a recipe for coconut flank and brocoli salad with peanuts and basil.
